Galih adalah seekor Gajah di kebun binatang Gembira Loka, Yogyakarta. Saat hendak membantu mengambilkan sekumpulan balon milik seorang anak, tiba-tiba saja Galih terbang ke langit, terbawa balon-balon yang tertiup angin. Ia mendarat di tengah kota Yogyakarta. Walaupun Galih terlihat sangat berbeda dari para manusia, ia tak patah arang ataupun berkecil hati. Dengan tenang, Galih mencari jalan pulang sambil tak lupa membantu orang-orang di sekitarnya.

Membaca cerita ini seperti bernostalgia akan suasana kota Yogyakarta. Mama jadi ingin jalan-jalan di Malioboro dan makan Gethuk. Sabio pun teringat masa liburannya di kota Gudheg itu tahun lalu.

Mama found this book after searching in a row of children's books on the lowest shelf in the bookstore. Because the bookstore was far from home, Mama could be sad if she couldn't get a picture book for Sabio. So, she had to be diligent in checking the books on each shelf of children's books section.

Galih is an elephant in the Gembira Loka zoo, Yogyakarta. When he is about to help a visitor to get his balloons back, suddenly Galih flies into the sky, carried by the balloons which are blown by the wind. Then, he lands in the middle of Yogyakarta city. Although Galih looks very different from humans, he is not giving up or discouraged. Calmly, Galih looks for a way home while not forgetting to help the people around him.

Reading this story is like reminiscing about the atmosphere of Yogyakarta. Mama wants to walk around Malioboro and eat Gethuk. Sabio also remembers his vacation in the city of Gudheg last year.
